Who am I?
Hello folks! I'm Bryan Bonilla Diaz, a Puerto Rican game designer, educator, and sound designer with a passion for creating interactive experiences and helping others discover the craft of game development. I've been creating, studying, and teaching games for over a decade. I enjoy the iterative process of turning ideas into playable experiences, experimenting with new tools, and solving problems through design.
I currently develop and teach game development curriculum for students, where I enjoy making the creative and technical sides of game development approachable and engaging. Teaching has become an important part of my work, and I value the opportunity to help others build the skills, confidence, and curiosity to create games of their own. I also believe strongly in giving back to the development community and previously served with the Puerto Rico Game Developers Association (PRGDA).
There's always another idea to explore, another tool to learn, or some strange little problem to figure out. I enjoy learning as I go, trying different approaches, and seeing how I can make something work. For me, that's a big part of the fun.
